“I ended up purchasing a cargo van, and more recently upfitting the interior with a few products from Legend Fleet Solutions. This meant that I needed a solid flooring solution that could withstand the abuse of rolling carts. This brings me to StabiliGrip. It’s a composite rigid floor that doesn’t expand or retract in extreme temperatures. Typical rubber mats end up being no good, because the wheels on my cart end up leaving indentations into the floor since the material is very malleable. This meant that by the time I arrived on location, the carts would end up being super difficult to move because they would sag into the floor, because the floor isn’t rigid. With StabiliGrip, my carts move super smoothly, so I’m not having to struggle with moving equipment. Another one of my favourite features is that it’s super easy to clean.”

“Being our first full electric cargo van, it’s very sensitive as far as how and where you can mount, there’s a full cell of batteries below this deck, so the Legend product (EVOLVE Lightweight Floor) fit the bill. One thing about the product is one, it’s easy to clean and maintain, but actually when you get on the surface, there’s a little bit of give and pad that our guys really like, and it’s easier on the body, easier on the knees when you’re trying to pick and find pieces and parts out of the vehicle. So this is new to our fleet, but we do have an existing fleet that we run, typically over 30 vehicles. Along with the evolution of our business, you can kind of see we’ve used the Legend products and it kind of fits our goals as far as providing the best in tools and equipment to our team, and we’re supper happy with their products.”

“The buck stops with the Legend lock. We haven’t had a successful break-in in the Legend lock yet… I think with these (Legend) locks, I think the word is out with this community that has been targeting these vans, that these Legend locks are not easy to get into. They see them, and they just by-pass it.”

“It gets wet in here all the time in the winter, you don’t really slip on it (the floor). It seems pretty sturdy. It washes off really nice if you spill something on it. (About the walls/ceiling) Yeah, it definitely doesn’t get as hot back here. I think it keeps a lot of the heat out and keeps it slightly warmer in the winter… which, it will keep the heat in! I like the liners, they provide a bit of like, sound dampening. We do a lot of driving, a lot of rough roads potentially, so things clattering around in the back, they kind of dampen down on that noise, which makes it a bit more comfortable to drive.”

“First of all, the machinery we carry around, are aerators and scarifiers, those are big, heavy-duty machines, that, with a normal ply base (floor), after a while that is quite robust, but still from the damage of the machines going in and out, the surface area starts to break up, and then we started getting water ingress, so we’ve seen Legend floor here last year, and as we’ve seen, the product is damned near indestructible! With the lightweight (liners & floors), we can get an additional full of napsack of water on board, which is about 20-25 kilos, it also means fuel savings for our vans!”

“The floor works really well. I enjoy it, I enjoy working on it, it’s kind of nice and comfortable. I like the walls because they’re very easy to clean and sometimes we work with a lot of grease-filled fibers and that gets quite messy. I enjoy being able to walk from outside into the van, make sure that I’m not going to slip.”

“It’s the whole journey. It’s not just one product. We needed something that fitted a whole range of elements. Weight to give us the range, the overall non-slip finish, but mainly, the recycled material journey. It’s not just the van, it’s all the bits that go in it.
